Mesa homes from every decade

Mesa is the oldest city Keenan serves. It was founded in 1878, and today the City of Mesa is the third-largest city in Arizona. A history that long means the housing covers almost every era.

Take three neighborhoods. Dobson Ranch, in west Mesa, was built between 1973 and 1999 around a golf course and a few small lakes. Las Sendas sits in the foothills of the Usery Mountains on the northeast edge of the city, with homes set into the hillside. Eastmark, on land that was once the General Motors Desert Proving Ground, broke ground in 2012.

Those are very different houses. An older Mesa home may have ductwork that has been modified more than once, or equipment sized for the house before an addition went on. A newer Eastmark build tends to raise other questions, like what the builder installed, what the warranty paperwork says and how that system is holding up after a few Arizona summers.

So the first step is simple. Keenan looks at what’s actually in your home. AC repair, AC replacement, a new heat pump, seasonal maintenance: it all starts with a conversation. Call (480) 594-2665.
